Winter Storm Jonas
Winter Storm Jonas buried a large portion of the Northeast urban corridor with more than 2 feet of snow from the Washington, D.C. area to New York City Jan. 22 into early Jan. 24, 2016.
Mayor Bill De Blasio activated New York City’s CEAS at Level "A" following a citywide travel ban declared due to the effects of Jonas.
Winter Storm Juno
From January 26 to January 28, 2015 CEAS was activated as a result of travel restrictions instituted due to the effects of Winter Storm Juno.The cities of Boston, Cambridge, New York City and Providence activated their CEAS program at Level A to facilitate travel of critical business employees.

In February of 2013 CEAS was activated as a result of travel restrictions instituted due to the effects of Winter Storm NEMO.The cities of Boston, Cambridge and Providence activated the program at Level A to facilitate travel of critical business employees.
Superstorm Sandy
The City of Baltimore activates CEAS in anticipation of the effects of Hurricane Sandy.
Mid Atlantic Blizzard 2010
The City of Baltimore activated CEAS in February of 2010 in response to a record setting snowfall in region.
