As part of BNET's ongoing efforts to continuously improve the CEAS program, I am pleased to announce some significant enhancements that are being enacted, that will greatly improve program manageability and result in a significant cost savings for many.

Beginning today BNET will be making available two (2) new types of CEAS Cards. The first being the Multi-Facility Card, which will replace the current Tandem Card with a single encoded card that will eliminate the need to carry additional cards to access multiple company facilities. The City of New York will be deploying field based technology that can electronically scan CEAS cards to determine access privileges. The Multi-Facility Card will allow holders to access all enrolled company facilities with a single card. This card will be made available in limited quantities for a flat fee of $100. This will represent a measurable savings over the current Tandem Card.

Also available will be the All Area Access Card, which will allow certain applicants, approved by the City, to have unrestricted access no matter where an event occurs. This new card will resolve access issues for companies and service providers that the current address based program prevents.

Over the next ninety (90) days BNET will gradually replace each Participants Tandem Cards with the new Multi-Facility cards. This will done free of charge to the company. Following this attrition period, Tandem Cards will no longer be honored by New York City officials at the activation of the CEAS program.

Effected companies will be contacted directly by a CEAS Customer Support agent who will assist them in their migration from Tandem Cards to Multi-Facility Cards. We are confident that this transition will improve the overall experience with the CEAS program and we look forward to continuing our relationship in this important public-private partnership.

Your business' survival and competitive advantage are dependent upon your ability to quickly resume operations following a large emergency. The Corporate Emergency Access System (CEAS) complements your company's business continuity program, and is an excellent response tool that can assist you with disaster recovery efforts. (Read More)
