NYC OEM Presents Hurricane Preparedness Week Conference Call

Will discuss the upcoming hurricane season and the impact that a coastal storm could have on NYC.

This week is National Hurricane Preparedness Week.

To encourage private organizations to begin preparing for hurricane season, NYC OEM invites you to participate in a conference call featuring Ross Dickman, Meteorologist in Charge (MIC) from the National Weather Service Forecast Office in Upton, New York. Mr. Dickman will discuss the upcoming hurricane season and the impact that a coastal storm could have on NYC.

The call is scheduled for Thursday, May 27, from 1:00 - 1:45 PM. To access the call, dial 718-218-0200 and enter the access code 375696. Space is limited and will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. Presentation slides will be posted to the Continuity Conversations page of the OEM website prior to the call.
