Founded in 1985, the Contingency Planning Exchange (CPE) strives to provide its members with ideas and resources to continually enhance business continuity, disaster recovery and crisis/emergency management strategies and tools through its educational programs and the sharing of ideas and best practices across all industry classifications.  The CPE is dedicated to keeping its members on the cutting edge of information and trends related to keeping business, industry and government running during and after an emergency. This is achieved through educational programs and by encouraging relationships with peers across the private and public sectors.

NEDRIX (Northeast Disaster Recovery Information X-Change) is a not-for-profit organization that partners with governmental agencies to bring the public and private sector communities together with real time incident communications.  With a no fee membership, NEDRIX serves to provide their members access to continuity, disaster recovery and crisis management best practices, educational resources, employment opportunities, conferences and much more.

 

 

ACP is the largest organization of Business Continuity Professionals in the US with 44 chapters and over 2600 members.  The organization is dedicated to the sharing of information and experience between members in addition to providing continuing professional education.

 

InfraGard is an information sharing and analysis effort serving the interests and combining the knowledge base of a wide range of members. At its most basic level, InfraGard is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the private sector. InfraGard is an association of businesses, academic institutions, state and local law enforcement agencies, and other participants dedicated to sharing information and intelligence to prevent hostile acts against the United States.
